Patricia “Pat” Gillum Sams’ career has taken her on an interesting journey from management in the insurance industry to leading diversity initiatives at an electric, sewer and water company to community organizer. She spent 23 years with State Farm Insurance Companies in Auto and Health Claims as well as Human Resources. She earned numerous professional designations and licenses during her extensive insurance career.

Dr. Anita Petteway-Tyler

Dr. Anita Petteway-Tyler specializes in Internal Medicine in North Miami Beach. The board-certified physician focuses on preventive and primary care services as well as the treatment of chronic illnesses. She is also a clinical professor at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. She also serves as a clinical preceptor for first year medical students from NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a volunteer professor in the Department of Medicine.

Tanya James Grace has spent the past 20 years working in the health and wellness field. She has developed wellness programming in the corporate, private and nonprofit sectors. Tanya is currently an ordained pastor/minister and serves as a board-certified chaplain at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is also a nationally certified personal trainer and group certified fitness instructor.
