Dr. Antoinette M. Landor

Antoinette M. Landor is an Associate Professor and the Millsap Professor of Diversity and Multicultural Studies in the Department of Human Development and Family Science at the University of Missouri. She is co-founder and Associate Director of the Center for Body Image Research and Policy (CBIRP). Dr. Landor received a PhD from the University of Georgia and completed a National Institutes of Health (NIH) postdoctoral fellowship at the University of
North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on the impact of colorism and racism on individual, relational, and family health and functioning. She also examines how sociocultural factors influence the sexual and romantic relationship behaviors of adolescents and young adults. Her work has appeared in top-tier journals, such as Perspectives on Psychological Science, Journal of Adolescent Health, Journal of Sleep Research, Journal of Youth and Adolescence and Archives of Sexual Behavior, and has been presented at domestic and international conferences, such as the European Congress of Psychology in Milan, Italy and the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Development in Gold Coast, Australia.

Dr. Jamila Holcomb a licensed marriage and family therapist in Tallahassee, Florida and is the owner of Holcomb Counseling and Consulting, LLC. She specializes in individual, family, and trauma counseling. Dr. Holcomb also provides consultations and training centered around anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the education and mental health fields. Dr. Holcomb is also Teaching Faculty at Florida State University in their Human Development and Family Science Department. Dr. Holcomb obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and her Ph.D. in MFT from Florida State University.
Dr. Kimberly Allen

Dr. Kimberly Allen is a Jacksonville native along with her husband and three children. She attended Sallye B. Mathis Elementary, James Weldon Johnson College Preparatory Middle and Stanton College Preparatory School where she graduated with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. She attended Florida State University and earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees: two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Family and Child Sciences; a master’s degree in Family and Child Sciences; and a Ph.D. in Human Sciences—Family Relations, which she started at the University of Georgia. During that time, she was the professor of several courses focused on stress and resilience, families in crisis, adolescent and human development and assisted with many other courses. Dr. Allen also worked at the University of Georgia’s Center for Family Research where she examined the relationship patterns of rural, African American men.
Dr. Mai Dinh Keisling

In 1982, Mai Dinh Keisling emigrated here from Vietnam after living in 3 refugee camps. She graduated from Englewood High School, Jacksonville University (JU), and completed her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from University of North Florida (UNF). Her doctoral dissertation focused on How Community Leaders’ Leadership Behaviors and Practices Influence K-12 Educational Policies, specifically examining cultural and ethnic/minority groups’ means of advocacy and activism in community/sub-communities. This dissertation won UNF Educational Leadership Doctoral Program’s 2015 Thomas Mulkeen Award for Best Dissertation.
She was an EVE winner (2017) and EVE finalist (2008). Mai has been a DCPS educator for almost 30 years in which she has earned many accolades for her teaching including as a Times-Union’s Eve Award Finalist – Education (2008), Memphis Wood Award Excellence in Career Art Teaching (2008), UNF’s Gladys Prior Award for Excellence in Career Teaching (2007), Florida’s Outstanding High School Art Teacher of The Year (FAEA – 2007), Education Award recipient by Mayor’s Asian American Advisory Board (2006), Duval County Teacher of the Year Finalist (2006), and Bank of America’s Neighborhood Hero Award where she was awarded $5000.00 which was given back to UNF in honor of her Art Teacher, BettyMae Rover.
